British Columbia has issued new invitations to Skills Immigration and Express Entry candidates through its Tech Pilot in a draw held April 2.
26 invitations were issued to candidates in the Skilled Worker and International Graduate categories of the Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration streams.
The Tech Pilot assists B.C. employers in hiring in-demand foreign talent by providing a fast-track, permanent immigration pathway for international tech workers and graduates of eligible B.C. higher-learning institutions.
In order to be eligible, candidates must have a valid job offer in one of the program’s 29 eligible occupations. As of June 26, 2018, individuals who apply under a Skills Immigration category in an eligible tech occupation must have a job offer of at least one year (365 days) in length. The job offer must have at least 120 days remaining at the time of application to the BC PNP.
